Overview

A bold Shopify rebuild that matches how much the brand has grown.

Mash Gang are one of the UK's cult alcohol-free craft breweries - a phantom brewery pushing over 200 experimental recipes across hazy IPAs, pale ales and stouts, stocked everywhere from independent bottle shops to Waitrose. We built their first Shopify site early in their journey.

The brand grew fast. They were acquired by a large US company, the range and the audience expanded, and the original site could no longer keep up with the size and ambition of what Mash Gang had become.

We rebuilt the whole site on Shopify: a much bigger, bolder store designed for headline marketing campaigns, wholesale (B2B) ordering, and a live stockist finder that updates itself from recent orders.

What We Did

A bigger, bolder Shopify site with B2B and a live stockist finder built in.

We redesigned and rebuilt the store on Shopify from the ground up to match how the brand had evolved: louder, more confident, and set up to headline the kind of marketing campaigns Mash Gang now run rather than being retrofitted around them.

On the direct-to-consumer side, the store handles product launches, limited-run drops and full seasonal campaigns without a developer being needed each time.

On the B2B side we built a dedicated wholesale ordering experience for stockists and independents alongside the main store. Trade customers get their own pricing, order flows and product visibility.

Powered by that same B2B data, we built a live stockist finder that shows customers where to buy Mash Gang. It updates itself automatically from recent wholesale orders, so the stockist list is always current without anyone maintaining it by hand.
